Dr. Swati Jalan

BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Swati Jalan is a Senior Obstetrician and Gynaecologist practicing in Guwahati. She did her MBBS from Gauhati Medical College and Hospital in 2005. She then pursued Diploma in Obst. & Gynae (DGO) from Assam Medical College and Hospital in 2008. Her quest for knowledge continued and she again pursued Master's degree(MD) from AMCH, Dibrugarh, in the year 2012.

Dr. Swati Jalan has a vast experience of 12years in her subject. She has also served in the rural sector. She worked as Registrar in the Dept of O&G, GMCH in 2012-13. She is presently working as Consultant (O&G) at IHR, Guwahati.

Dr. Swati Jalan has extensive training in Gynaecological endoscopy and has been performing Laparoscopic and Hysteroscopic surgeries successfully. She is also trained in infertility and has helped many infertile couples achieve pregnancy with her treatment. Her other areas of interest are High risk pregnancy and Menopause, apart from the usual gynaecological and antenatal problems.

Dr. Swati Jalan has many research works to her credit. She has participated as faculty in many local as well as national conferences. She is a true believer of "Knowledge shared is knowledge gained" and to fulfill her motto she has been regularly participating in workshops and seminars organised by various social organisations to uplift the women of our society. Her subject is her passion and her forever eagerness to help her patients get rid of their problems sets her apart in the league.
