This includes the initial assessment and diagnostic tests which can range from Rs. 10,000/- to 40,000/-. The following factors may affect the cost – age, obesity, addictions (especially in the case of tobacco addicts, tests like the DFI may be required), other associated diseases, and history of previous treatment failure.

It is a low cost and effective therapy. IHR offers a package that includes the egg growth (Follicular Study), Semen processing, IUI disposables such as media & cannula, and insemination by the doctor in the uterine cavity.

Patients have to purchase all the medications separately, used during the cycles. The total cost of IUI including medications is usually less than Rs. 10,000/- per cycle. But in case injectable hormones have to be used (e.g. in Poor responders or PCOS cases), then the cost may increase.

The cost of IVF procedure itself is Rs. 50,000/- which includes:

• Consulting doctor’s fees (During IVF cycle- starts D1/D2, ends on day of ET)
• USG scans for follicular monitoring (During IVF cycle)
• Injection administration charges.
• OT charges for ovum pick up (OPU)
• OPU charges of the IVF specialist
• Anaesthetist’s charge for OPU
• Day care bed charges for 3-4 hrs stay after OPU

• Embryologist’s fee
• Culture of Eggs/ Embryos in IVF lab
• Disposables for IVF lab, OPU & ET (Embryo Transfer)
• One cycle of FET/ET without anaesthesia & 1 hour stay at IHR, post ET
• One dietician visit
• Three counsellor visits
• 10 yoga sessions
