Located in Guwahati, our centre spans at thoughtfully designed space. Since opening our doors in 1980, IHR Guwahati has grown into a comprehensive, top‑notch fertility and mother‑child healthcare facility. We’re proud to offer everything needed for infertility diagnosis and treatment—all under one roof.

In-Patient Wards

Our patient wards are designed for comfort, privacy, and personalized care. We offer a variety of options to meet the needs of all our patients:

Executive Rooms – Premium rooms with spacious interiors and modern amenities.
Deluxe Rooms – Well-equipped rooms offering comfort and essential care facilities.
AC Single Rooms – Comfortable and private.
Non-AC Single Rooms – Budget-friendly private accommodation.
AC Beds in the General Ward – a shared yet comfortable environment.

Each room and ward is maintained to high hygiene and safety standards.

Class 10000 IVF laboratory

We have an ultra-modern Class 10000 IVF laboratory with all the latest equipment. All workstations are inside vertical laminar airflows to maintain good air quality.

Lab air quality is also maintained by AHU (Air Handling Units). We do regular calibration of all equipment. Regular quality controls are done at every step in the IVF lab. This ensures the best success rate for our patients.

NICU & PICU

At IHR Guwahati, we provide dedicated Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) services for newborns and children requiring specialized care.

These facilities are staffed by experienced pediatricians and neonatal nurses to ensure the highest level of care for your child.

Operation theatres

Also, we have operation theatres:

Two OTs are dedicated to IVF-ET procedures, Two Major OTs, a minor OT, Dedicated OT for laparoscopy with the latest pieces of equipment , and one Labor Room.

OTs have a recovery unit and an ICU bed with ventilators. All advanced laparoscopic surgeries like Myomectomy, Chocolate cyst, Hysterectomies are done.

Pathology Lab

Our in-house Lab has all diagnostic facilities including Biochemistry, Hormones (including AMH), HPE and Culture.

Our laboratory is managed by Dr. Lal PathLabs, ensuring world-class standards in diagnostics. We maintain a state-of-the-art infrastructure equipped with advanced technology for accurate testing. Our team follows stringent quality protocols to deliver precise, reliable, and timely reports, helping clinicians make confident treatment decisions.

Pharmacy

IHR Pharmacy in one of the most stocked pharmacies in the North-East region. You can find most of the medicines which are required for mother and child health care.

IHR pharmacy is open 24 hours a day and round the year (24×7).

USG (imaging) machines

We have got USG (imaging) machines – Voluson E8 for fetal anomaly scans with 3D and 4D probes for routine sonography.

This cutting-edge technology not only enhances the accuracy of our diagnostic imaging but also creates an emotional connection for parents, allowing them to witness their baby’s development in stunning clarity and detail.

Digital X-Ray machine

There is a 300mA Digital X-Ray machine for all types of x-Rays & painless Hysterosalpingography (HSG)
