What is Embryo Freezing?

Embryo freezing is the process where embryos created in the laboratory are frozen(-196°C) using the latest Vitrification technique (also known as fast freezing) and stored safely for future use. When the decision is made to use the embryos, they are taken out of storage, warmed, and ready for transfer.

What is vitrification?

Vitrification is a modern cryopreservation technique that freezes embryos so rapidly that it prevents ice crystal formation. Instead of forming sharp ice that can damage cells, the embryo is transformed into a glass-like state—preserving its structure and increasing survival after thawing.
